MY NAME IS BRUCE! Thursday! Tonight! He’s there, be there, or be square!

There are still tickets left at the Box Office for tonight’s showing at 7:30 of Bruce Campbell’s film MY NAME IS BRUCE. The tickets will be going fast so plan to be at Wells Hall, MSU when the Box Office Opens at 6:30 PM. Michigan’s favorite son, Bruce Campbell himself is scheduled to attend.

This year’s ELFF has so much to offer - highly praised features, undiscovered gems, compelling documentaries, a wonderful collection of short films and films from the Lake Michigan region that shows our homegrown talent. We’ve been implementing a new Festival Schedule here on the web site this year so check out the main Festival Page to see all of the new features.

Tickets and passes are available here through the Festival Program or at www.brownpapertickets.com.

When:

Sunday, March 16, 2008, Noon

Where:

Wells Hall, MSU - Theater C

The ELFF is proud to announce that, for the first time, we will be screening all first through third place winners we’ve had in our 48/5 Film Contests. The 48/5 began in the spring of 2006, the brainchild of Shannon Burton.

Filmmakers from the Mid-Michigan area came together to write, shoot, edit, and premiere an original five-minute production in a mere 48 hours. Participants were given specified elements, such as a theme, prop, or line of dialogue at the start of the competition, and they had to incorporate those elements into their finished film. There is more information in the Full Announcement.

Check out the Festival Schedule to buy tickets and for more information on the screening of these films.
