2008 Fundraising Campaign

This article was posted on Fri, Feb 29 2008

The East Lansing Film Festival is running a campaign to raise $20,000 for new street light banners, a new and improved Film Society Film Series, and to secure the film festival’s future. The past few years, ELFF has been experiencing a decline in sponsorship, federal and state funding as well as an increase in costs.

We are appealing to all of you film lovers who believe that films outside of the Hollywood machine of mediocrity need to be a part of our community, who find pride in holding a world-class film festival in your backyard, and who recognize the necessity in today’s economy to support the arts.

How can you help? Please send in your tax-deductible contribution to:

ELFF
PO Box 4880
East Lansing, MI 48826

Every little bit will help. You can give as little as $5 or become a sponsor for $5,000 (click on Sponsors for more information). If you decide to contribute, your name will appear in the 2008 ELFF program. You are helping a great Michigan event continue to bring films that you would never get a chance to see in a fantastic festival setting with other like-minded filmgoers. You may be in the dark but you are not alone.

Thank you so much!
