Sophie (Courtney Cox) is haunted by the murder of her boyfriend, Hugh. Although she’s trying to maintain a semblance of normalcy, she is beginning to unravel. The fact that she was cheating on Hugh at the time of his death only compounds her guilt-ridden anxiety. Then, during one of the photography classes she teaches, a slide of the crime scene flashes onscreen before her. None of her students know how the slide got there, or who took the grainy picture, which shows Sophie sitting in the car outside the store. With the help of a police detective, Sophie tries to find out who took the picture. What Sophie eventually learns about that mysterious slide will force her to reexamine the events of that horrific night.
