The East Lansing Film Festival - ELFF

LMFC call for entries

If your film was 1/4 made, produced or financed in the states bordering Lake Michigan - Illinois, Indiana, Michigan or Wisconsin, then you are eligible to submit your film to the Lake Michigan Film Competition (LMFC), which is a part of ELFF. LMFC gives cash awards to best three feature, documentary, short and student films. An award is given annually by Message Makers to "The Most Promising Student Filmmaker" that includes a shooting and editing package worth over $10,000.

The 11th annual East Lansing Film Festival will take place March 12 - 20, 2008

ELFF screens all genres of feature, documentary, short and student films from around the world. ELFF's mission is to showcase foreign and independent films and celebrate their diverse cultures, ideas and creativity as well as foster and promote filmmaking in the Lake Michigan region by holding the Lake Michigan Film Competition as part of the film festival.

ELFF screens more than 100 films over nine days, including 2 extensive shorts programs, in 3 venues and 6 theaters.
