The East Lansing Film Festival - ELFF

The East Lansing Film Festival (ELFF) is the largest and most diverse film festival in Michigan to screen independent and foreign feature, documentary, short and students films from around the world. The ELFF was created in 1997 in cooperation with the City of East Lansing and Michigan State University. Since then, ELFF has been dedicated to bringing quality foreign and independent films to the state of Michigan in order to expose our audience to diverse cultures, ideas, and creative works.

ELFF is now accepting submissions for the 13th Annual East Lansing Film Festival, October 20 - 28, 2010. You can submit with withoutabox.com or by filling out an entry form.

If your film was 1/4 produced, directed or financed in one of the states (Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan) that border Lake Michigan then you qualify for the Lake Michigan Film Competition that takes place during the East Lansing Film Competition.

Cash prizes are given for 1st, 2nd and third winners in the Feature, Documentary, Short, Student categories. A filming package valued at $8,000 generously donated by Message Makers of Lansing is given to “The Most Promising Student Filmmaker.”
